Matière Noire van Louis Vuitton is een verleidelijke amber-houtgeur die speciaal voor dames is ontworpen. Deze in 2016 geïntroduceerde, exquise geur is gecreëerd door de gerenommeerde parfumeur Jacques Cavallier.
In de top opent de geur met de levendige zoetheid van zwartebessensiroop, aangevuld met verfrissende waterige noten. Het hart is een bloemenboeket met roos, cyclaam, narcis en jasmijn sambac, die samen een zachte maar betoverende essentie scheppen. Ter afronding van de beleving bestaan de basisnoten uit rijk agarhout (oud), aardse patchouli, aromatische wierook en warme benzoë, voor een prachtig complexe en diepe geur.
