Great experience with Decant Sample

I ordered a 20 ml decant of Byredo Oud Immortel and had a very positive experience overall. The order arrived safely and everything was as expected. I’ve been using the fragrance regularly since then and I’m very happy with the product.
What impressed me most, however, was the customer service. I contacted them because the fragrance smelled somewhat different from an in-store tester I had previously tried, and I wanted to know the batch code of the original bottle. Emre was extremely transparent: he explained that the source bottle was no longer available, so he couldn’t verify the batch code, and rather than guessing or giving me a vague answer, he simply told me what he knew and what he couldn’t confirm.
He also gave me a detailed and genuinely helpful explanation of why an older in-store tester can smell different from fresher juice, while being very clear that he couldn’t rule out batch or formulation differences. He even offered a replacement or a full refund without any argument, although I decided to keep the decant.
Friendly, knowledgeable and, most importantly, honest customer service. That kind of transparency builds trust, especially when buying fragrance decants online.
I’m happy with both the fragrance and the overall experience, and I would definitely order from Decant Sample again.
